Metabolic & Nutritional Evaluation
Look deeper into how your genetics and your detoxification pathways contribute to illnesses with a metabolic evaluation. Does your body need more enzymes to help with digestion? More fiber? Does your body need peptides to help with healing, weight loss, and reversing disease and aging? A nutritional evaluation can help determine if you have nutritional deficiencies that are causing fatigue, emotional lability, and metabolic disarray.
Saliva & Serum Hormonal Evaluation
In some cases, a serum hormone evaluation is necessary. However, to have a true level of what the hormones are doing at the tissue level where they are being utilized, a saliva hormone panel may be more appropriate to determine deficiencies.
Comprehensive Thyroid Evaluation
The thyroid is typically only checked with the Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) level. This is sufficient if one is only looking at the general overview of what the thyroid is doing. However, an in depth evaluation reveals how well the body is converting the T4 released by the thyroid to T3. T3 is the active component of thyroid. It’s what makes 220 different things work in the body. When the body is deficient in certain nutrients, it does not convert the T4 to T3 very well. An in depth thyroid evaluation can help determine if nutrients are needed to help with the conversion or if one needs T3 to help the body function better.
Tailored Supplemental Nutritional Programs
When vitamin and nutrient levels are checked, it is helpful to discern if one has nutritional deficiencies. On a cellular level, the body functions better when there are enough vitamins, minerals, nutrients, enzymes, proteins, and amino acids to help with metabolic processes.
Alternative Anxiety, Depression & Attention Deficit Therapies
Pharmaceutical medications sometimes cause unwanted side effects. To avoid these side effects and
potentially using a medication that is not appropriate for all, consider nutritional deficiencies can contribute to anxiety/depression/attention deficit. Repleting vitamins, minerals, and nutrients can help these problems. Today’s American diet, loaded with carbs/sugar/processed/
inflammatory foods often contributes to nutritional deficiencies.
Targeted Irritable Bowel Therapies
Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) is often linked to bacterial/parasitic/fungal/
viral overgrowth of the intestines. Discovering and eradicating the overgrowth can improve IBS. Other things to consider are food sensitivities that can cause bloating, constipation, diarrhea, and abdominal cramping. IBS can also be linked to insufficient probiotics and digestive enzymes. The standard American diet, loaded with processed/genetically modified/sugary/pesticide laden foods can contribute to bowel issues.
Autoimmune Improvement Programs
90% of my patient population is either autoimmune or they are driving in the direction of autoimmune. I see this happening in our population, as a whole. One of the number one reasons people are becoming autoimmune is due to their toxicity level. When our bodies are laden with toxins, our immune systems eventually become overwhelmed, over-reactive, and immunosuppressed. The goal is to help the body detoxify, modulate the immune response, and improve what one puts in their body and exposes their body to.
At Truth Wellness Center, we do not focus on weight loss. We do not teach diets. Instead, we work with one metabolically and help them get back to good whole food eating, and weight loss is a side effect.
Lifestyle and Nutritional Recommendations
Every patient that comes into our office receives recommendations for how they can improve their own health by making
better lifestyle choices. We work to empower the patient with knowledge of better lifestyle choices so they can stay out of the medical system.
Adrenal Fatigue Recovery
It is commonplace for one person to do 10 people’s jobs while at work. Do more with less. Both adults are working in every household and they are stretched to the limit. On top of that, poor nutrition and lack of exercise, contribute to the fatigue that is experienced today. Adrenal fatigue is not just a medical diagnosis anymore; it’s an epidemic. We can help recover the adrenal glands, as well as teach lifestyle improvement, to help avoid one going into adrenal fatigue again.
